Sunday Morning

61 degrees; balmy. It's not going to be a very wonderful outdoor day, at all. (But, as someone said, right away - "At least we don't have to shovel it!")

West Coast Baseball scores - drippy!

Once again, Wind Farm Controversy is back in the news - this time in regard to a proposed 75-turbine Farm over in Jordanville.

We went to Jordanville a few weeks ago for our Sunday "Ride in the Country:" perhaps we should go over through the Fenner Wind Farm, today. We're used to our seven Stone Road windmills. built in 2000,

but in Fenner the whole layout is different and dirt roads lead right past the bases of the giant towers. The drive will take us through Peterboro, too, and - perhaps - Pratt's Hollow. once home of a legenday "watering hole" called "Coonrod's," and also the geographic center of the State of New York.

Have a good day!
